Seaways
Seaways comfortably sleeps up to six people in 1 double and two twin-bedded rooms. It opens onto our peaceful and secluded lawned courtyard garden. Seaways is part of the building known as Gullrock that nestles at the foot of the valley and is set back just 100 yards from the beach. It was originally built in 1803 as a ‘Pilchard Palace’ for processing the fish caught in huge numbers along the Cornish coast during the early 19th century.
At the head of the beach can be found the Port Gaverne Hotel and bar, as well as the ‘Pilchards at Port Gaverne’ café where you can get meals and drinks. The beach is ideal for safe bathing, with many interesting rock pools for children of all ages to explore.
