Mobile phone coverage at Gullrock

There is a local Orange transmitter giving full strength 2G coverage even here at the bottom of Port Gaverne valley.

Like most rural parts of the UK, 3G coverage in this area is currently intermittent. A BBC survey in July 2011 showed that 3G coverage was available in our local towns like Wadebridge and Bodmin. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14582499 and enter my postcode PL29 3SQ.

T-Mobile customers can now access the Orange network, see http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/share/
Other networks can be accessed once you are out of the valley.

There is a payphone here at Gullrock, but for holiday use in Cornwall you might consider a basic Orange pay-as-you-go phone. These can be had from Orange for as low as £10 http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/pay-as-you-go.
